Michael Siroty graduated from Westfield High School in New Jersey in 2023, and recently finished his freshman year at Penn State University, where he is studying Broadcast Journalism.
Sports were a big part of Michael's life from the time he was born, and his love for them grew even bigger in 2014. At just nine years old, Michael tore his meniscus and ACL while playing baseball. A visit to Hospital for Special Surgery in New York led him to a surprise run-in with retired NFL offensive lineman Jeff Allen, and sparked a friendship that still exists. The two created a non-profit organization, JAMSPals, that connects children recovering from orthopedic injuries with college and professional athletes, to act as a pen-pal.
