You care enough to click the "About Me" page? I'm honored.
I'm Michael. Some people call me Siroty. It's pronounced "sir-oh-dee." Please, don't mess it up. I'm 19 years old and I'm a sophomore at Penn State University. We Are. I'm majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation. I've always been a huge sports fan. Somehow, everything relates back to sports for me. After growing up playing more sports than I can count (some of which were made up by my brother and me), I tore my meniscus and ACL at age nine, forcing me to find a different role in sports. Trust me, I would be in the NBA by now if my knee didn't do that. That different role became writing in 2019, and one year later, I started interviewing athletes virtually (I guess I owe a thank you to COVID). When high school sports returned after the pandemic, I became a play-by-play announcer. I continued doing all of those throughout high school, and after driving to the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania for college, I've expanded on those skills while also developing new ones.
